Renewal Plan

The Library Team is working with the City Council to develop a funding plan for the renewal of the VPL. Community conversations were held in early August to explore public opinion about the Plan and how to fund the Renewal Plan.  Those who attended expressed excitement for the proposed renovation.  There is consensus that the Vaughn needs public investment to maintain essential library services for the next 50 years.  Additional investment from state, federal and private grants to business and individual donations were also discussed as part of the funding plan.  To view the presentation, click here.
