What do Friends Do?
The Friends of the VPL support, advocate and host events for the library.
The Book Nook, your favorite used book store in the Bay Area, is organized, staffed and maintained by the Friends. Book Nook hours are Tuesday & Thursday 9-4, Saturday 9-12 (as of 3/22). Annual sales from the Book Nook and other fundraisers, including membership dues come back to the library for new books, programs and equipment.

Make a donation, donate gently used books and movies, volunteer your time.
There is a way to support the library that fits your schedule and talents!
Friends of the Library Board
The Friends are governed by an executive board made up of member volunteers. Officers include; president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.
Meetings are held the second Thursday of the Month. The public is welcome to attend.
